I love a good science podcast. I’m happy to discover a new science podcast. But I was looking forward to working my way through the archive of Science Talk. I do not appreciate having Science Talk replaced with the new Scientific American podcast. I do not care if I’m 15 years behind on the...Read full review »

So disappointing that this science institution takes “the narrative” over really considering all the alternative scientific evidence that disagrees with it, as well as the evidence to quiet the voices of differing views. I love science and I’m a very scientific type of person, but they...Read full review »

Sounds like an AI voice so it’s easy to get distracted. If you can focus the stories are great.

First episode of Uncertain was wonderfully inspiring. Looking forward to the next.

A thoughtfully considered, beautifully produced inquiry into an essential, yet often overlooked aspect of science. In an age where many studies are vulnerable to the taint of funding bias, finding true answers depends on scientists who value humility and possess the openness to live in the...Read full review »

I’m a fairly recent subscriber; started listening in 2016 and looked forward to each week’s release. But since Steve Mirsky’s departure, it’s not worth the effort. Several weeks of nature sounds? Really? And now book musings? I’ll continue to subscribe just in case they manage to turn...Read full review »

Steve, I cannot imagine why you did not contrast Dan Schwartz‘s book with the Pope of physics book which came out here earlier. In the book review episodes, I like the musical beats to emphasize the major points before the discussion.

Political, he seriously had a neurologist on to state people don’t have free will which is only friggin half science. Really some disturbing topics and guests.

Many of their stories are quick hits, unlike most science shows that are an hour long. The nature walk series is unmatched! They aren’t just talking about the same things as other science shows are; an independent voice.

Steve Mirsky is a delight to listen to. Topics range from the light-hearted to just-the-facts coverage of serious science behind each year’s winners of the Nobel Prize. Each episode is worth listening to.

I love science, so I wanted to listen to science podcasts. So far this podcast has been great! I have read other reviews and heard that the host sometimes gets political, but sometimes you can’t avoid that.

This is a decent podcast, but like many podcasts they go into political tangents that are just unnecessary. Please just stay on topic unless that topic is politics.

I am here to listen to scientific news not your biased political stands. Sadly both the host and the interviewee were too proud and even the progresses of air pollution reduction in China were attributed to the need of stability of governing China by CCP based on their American-centric views. I’ve enjoyed this scientific podcast as a reprieve from the idiotic drama unfolding in our government and the news. Then the air pollution issue dove headlong into that morass. No thank you.

I love this podcast!
