“This show has a noble goal of presenting the science behind many controversial issues but unfortunately it does a poor job. It is hardly 'SCIENCE VS' as the title would mislead you to believe.
There is never any talk of scientific consensus, let alone systematic reviews of the scientific literature. Wendy will often cite a single study as evidence. She will also often give pseudoscientists and fringe ideas the same amount of thought and time as the actual evidence.
It is often full of logical fallacies (e.g. false dichotomy of 'nature vs nuture') and misrepresentations of science as a whole (a scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation; far different from the colloquial use of the term).
