Fracing episode (season 2)
The first episode of season 2 is all about fracing (and yes, I spelled that right). I will admit that I am in the oil and gas industry, but I have always been open to the possible dangers of fracing. Overall I think that the episode covers a lot of good topics and presents evidence from both sides. I do have one major problem with the word fracing is used throughout the episode; they say fracing whenever they refering to any process that has to do with natural gas extraction. It may seem like a minor thing to those that don't understand, but to have conversations about climate change we need to consider all natural gas extraction and not just wells that are fraced (although that is many of them nowadays). Anyways the point I am trying to make is Wendy sometimes glosses over and makes light of details that she doesn't feel are important, but to have a credilble science podcast you should take the time to get at least a decent understanding of the terminology.Read full review »

Gimlet reminds me of the consistent quality of Pixar. Science vs does a great job at telling stories with facts and illuminating stories within data. I enjoy the hosts playful smarty pants approach to debunking or bunking topics.
