Not worthwhile for scientifically-minded adults
The concept is good, but it's just not worth the time. It wastes time with dumb jokes instead of being educational. The host dramatically over-pronounces things in a way that makes it seem like she thinks she's blowing your mind with the simplest of things, which feels condescending. The cheesy puns and sound effects make it seem like a show for children. It's trying too hard to be "hip" which just makes it painful. This podcast, specifically the fracking one, barely qualified as science reporting. The presenter needs to take a couple of stats classes. "Most of the time" and "not very often" are not science even if a scientist says those things. Really disappointing.Read full review »
