I love this! Very funny and informative! I have listened to all the episodes 2-3 times but remember the right answer 25% of the time so it’s fun to listen again and again! Having something to do helps a lot during these boring and lonely covid times. I can’t recommend this enough

What a great series, these people can be talking about any subject and you will walk away with lots of knowledge that is easy to take in because it’s interesting. Almost done with the whole thing!

I loved the episode on birds with Jason Ward! It’d be great to hear from more experts who love their respective topics!

This was my first podcast, and it’s the only one I keep up with. I think the the themed episodes, the competitive format, the weird and wonderful facts (real or not), and the camaraderie between the hosts keep me coming back every week. :) Thanks to the team for the research and hard work behind...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to Tangents almost since the absolute beginning, and I love it. It’s fun and upbeat and educational without taking itself too seriously. 10/10 would recommend. Weird episode idea - Underwear Questions like: Does it serve a purpose hygienically or otherwise? What did people...Read full review »

This is easily one of my favorite podcasts! The banter is witty and the friendships are real. It’s so fun to listen to Ceri, Sam, Hank, and Stefan earnestly nerd out about science. I really appreciate the different levels of knowledge on the show so the questions I am wondering about myself are...Read full review »

The podcast is good and educational and science-y …but they sometimes swear😐. I have been listening for around half a year lol and I LOVE IT SO MUCH not too kid-friendly (though I am a kid). Everything in Tangents is likable and and Stefan’s slant rhyme is hilarious (I’m sorry if I misspelled...Read full review »

This is the podcast that makes my science self happy. It is light hearted fun and while there are more serious issues, it is nice to have one place to escape to. I love the Twitter poll so we can all play along.

I love the Green brothers, since I discovered their YouTube channel eleven or twelve years ago. Love them! Love all of their channels and podcasts!!! “We are all Bat People” is one of my favorite songs. But I’m giving this podcast 4 stars because, it’s not kid friendly. With Hank saying the “F”...Read full review »

Hilarity + curiosity-driven learning + light fun and games = an awesome podcast. I spent 4 hours listening to it the day I discovered it, and I don’t normally listen to science podcasts. My favourite part has got to be the poems. Topic ideas for seasons 2 (or even 3) are: carbon dating,...Read full review »

I LOVED the halloween episodes!! Fun fact about frog linguistics: frog is one of the few english words (like dog like other -og words) that we have no idea where they came from! This is iconic. An awesome sequel to HFS! I have nothing bad to say about this. A suggestion I have for an episode is about homosexuality throughout different animal species. I thought it would be an interesting idea after Hank posted the TikTok about girafe homosexuality (which got taken down)....Read full review »

I love this show so much! The facts are so good, the tangents are are a joy and of course SAM! What’s not to love? I’ve been listening since the first episode of HFS. I’ve loved this podcast since the beginning! You should do a episode on vegetarianism. Also, I feel like Ceri was the basis of Miranda Beckwith from aart/abfe.... am I right?

I’ve been listening since the beginning and I so so love these people. If you like science you should listen and if you’re not a science person at all you should definitely listen because they break stuff down to where it makes sense.

Sam and Ceri's voices have become a sense of 'safety' to my ears in an ASMR kinda way. There are so many great comedy and discussion panel shows on BBC Radio 4 in the UK and I'm glad to find an American panel show that rivals them. I'd like to request a show topic of plush...Read full review »

A healthy dose of fun facts, weird science, and the occasional foray into where squirrels go when it rains. After running myself into the ground for my BS in Neuroscience, this podcast got me excited about science again. ^.^
