Was a good show for a long time, but now it's only on for a few minutes a month. I'm not sure what the point is. I won't be listening anymore.Read full review »

This a wonderful podcast. He is a guy with a passion for photography. I enjoy listening to his challenges, how to improve, finding time to make photos and such. the same challenges we all have balancing work, home and photography. hang in there Rob. Keep up the good work.

Photography for the man in the street. Cutting out the techno garb and pretentious dialogue. Really useful for those new to photography and as an ongojng education.

Just found this podcast, and im really glad i did,its not all about the latest must have cameras/lenses but the life of somebody just like us who works for a living and enjoys their photography, and explains things to make them easier to understand for us newbies! Keep up the good work Rob

Rob is a regular guy like us. He is picking away at normal topics in photography the same as we do in our normal lives. He, like us, works all week and squeezes in some time with his hobby when he's not busy with work and family. Sometimes there's king reviews, sometimes questions from...Read full review »

Love the non-glossy production. Informative, thought provoking and entertaining. Such a change from US professional photographers, Rob has the same budget constraints as most of us amateurs. Keep it up.

Aways a great listen. Yes sometimes the audio is not the best but Robs enthusiasm more than makes up for it. I always look forward to hearing about his journey through photography. His podcast is more like a diary and much more personal than others. Give it a try.

Love the podcast! Rob does a great job covering everything from digital to film photography in a very relatable way. I enjoy hearing about photography from another amateur photography lover. The monthly assignments are enjoyable to follow along with as well.

. . but the road noise from the M3/M23/A3/A34 etc. became too much of a distraction. I'll check later to see if the sound quality is any better!Read full review »

I've been a long time listener to Rob's podcast and have been meaning to submit a review for too long now. It has been interesting following Rob on his photography journey and I particularly enjoy his down to earth approach to the subject. Robs shoestring approach is so refreshing His...Read full review »

I don't know what this guy is thinking. DO NOT RECORD A AUDIO PODCAST WHILE DRIVING. The sound is horrid. I had to stop listening within the first 30 seconds because it's so bad.Read full review »

Thanks to Rob for such a wonderful podcast series. I find everything easy to follow, being a beginner hobbiest photographer myself. The podcasts are full of information and inspiration that have really helped me to better my skills. I do recommend this podcast to my friends and acquaintances...Read full review »

I listen to plenty of photography related podcasts, but this is one of my favorites. Not only has it been enjoyable listening to Rob learn photography, but he has taught me much that I missed along the way of my own learning path. He also serves as a great inspiration to get out and try new...Read full review »

Rob, I started listening to your podcast about 3 weeks ago, and I love it. I like to keep up with all of the technical news about new cameras, lenses, software, and technology. There are plenty of podcasts to provide information like this. Your podcast goes more toward feeding the creative...Read full review »

Love the humble approach to Rob's work - many other photography podcasts are big ego boosts. Great tips - if they help Rob improve, he shares it. Honest - nice, but honest in his approach. Helpful - join the supporting flickr group and there is great advice and feedback. On the downside...Read full review »

I like this podcast, despite being a bit random it is more down to earth than the 'pro-photo' podcasts who always talk about the latest £1000+ gear as if everyone is a millionaire that listens and will instantly go out and buy the latest stuff. Instead he will often talk about a gem he...Read full review »

I just listened few newest episodes and was disappointed. I wished there would be something for advanced amateur, but it seems this podcast is meant for total beginner. Please, at least use terms zoom and focal length correctly. They are not interchangeable.
