You will find yourself pointlessly driving around just to listen to Sigler.
First off let me say that Scott Sigler is NOT for children. old people, cute furry animals, or goldfish. It is meant for Adult audiences that can handle blood and gore and for those people alone. Mr Sigler is an excellent storyteller who knows how to build suspense, build characters and make them real, and he can build one hell of a storyline. He does all of this while still retaining the "science" aspect of science fiction. I started with Earthcore and have faithfully listened to and enjoyed Ancestor, Infection and now The Rookie. I hate sports. I hate football even more. I still really enjoy this podcast. It has several "hitchikers guide" type aspects and if you know Mr Sigler then you know there are plenty of hidden references to his other works and short stories that make this story fun for longtime junkies. (junkie is a reference to his fanbase, we are junkies and like it). I would recommend going back to Earthcore and listening to all of his podcast novels in order. You should also pick up his stories on other podcasts, like escape pod. Please give him a try, if you like sci-fi then you will like this.Read full review »

Scott tells a great story, and each one is better than the last. I would be lost without my weekly vile...Read full review »

Those who enjoyed Earthcore will love this on-the-edge-of-your-seat sci-fi gore thriller. Ancestor is one hell of a ride. Well-written and well-performed, this is my personal favorite podcast.
