“Every time I start listening to a Scott Sigler story, I'm initially neutral, but I somehow end up really getting into it by the end. There's a hostage situation in the story that really rubbed me the wrong way. The protagonist of this story isn't very likeable, and I don't care what happens to him, but the physical changes he goes through are fascinating in a "can't take your eyes off a car wreck" way. The science behind how he gets infected sounds surprisingly plausible, and shows Scott did some research. All in all, I'd have to say well done.”Read full review »
