Great tips for writers (screen or not)
I don't write for the screen, but I have long followed John August's blog for the excellent tips on craft and professionalism. The blog posts do draw from John's personal experiences in Hollywood, but they often transcend the specifics and offer insight for writers of all types. Similarly, the Scriptnotes podcast with Craig Mazin is wonderfully helpful and interesting, and I look forward to the new episode each week. John and Craig are an interesting duo, both smart and funny, but with vastly different tastes, styles, and demeanors.
