“This is an excellent podcast and a worthy sister to the Sunday TV programme of the same name. I listen every week. The one major shortcoming is the production of external interviews. Almost every week you have a phone interview with an interesting player/ coach/ ex-player etc. but more often than not, the interview is completely spoiled by poor Skype or mobile phone connection of the interview. What’s wrong with an ordinary clear telephone landline connection? Possibly your production team don’t realise this listening in the insulated head-phone environment of a studio but 95% of us listen to talk-radio podcasts in the car, on public transport or cycling/ walking. In those real environments with background noise, these interviews are often unintelligible! Excellent podcast BBC Wales – improve the phone connection quality and move to 5-star!”
