“Sean is my absolute favorite academic and intellectual to listen to — by far. I’ve consumed as many of his lectures, talks, and interviews as I can find online, as well as all of his books.
When I stumbled upon this Podcast a couple weeks ago, I was ecstatic! While I’ve listened to him for years, I’ve never gotten the chance to hear him interview others and steer the conversation appropriately.
What I’m enjoying most about the Podcast is that as I listen, I’m realizing that Sean and I disagree on certain perspectives outside of physics. Instead of this impacting my opinion of him negatively, it’s causing me to dig deeper into my own thoughts and opinions, and reevaluate some of my stances.
While I don’t see myself flipping the script entirely and changing all of my opinions overnight, I’m enjoying hearing Sean’s articulate personality speak on things that he typically wouldn’t in lectures and books. It shows that he’s not just a talking head on my computer screen, but an actual human with his own thoughts and opinions. It’s great!
As with most newer things, there are kinks to be worked out in the Podcast itself. I wouldn’t let that deter you in the slightest, however. The audio is great, as is the editing. I’m looking forward to seeing this Podcast evolve as he gets more and more accustomed to it.
It’s a great Podcast, and definitely worth a listen!”
