Absolutely enjoyed listening!
During the podcast I got to learn a lot about not just the struggle of mental health with men but of the relationship between Lou and Mike. Their friendship is a pure demonstration of what it actually is having friends. Sometimes you may disagree or agree because you collide with two very different perspectives. Their mental health conversation was a reality check for me. As an 18 year old female I felt relating a lot to them since I encountered my therapist believing that I did not need these services. I understood the “I’m fine” response and constantly faking your mental state of mind. Listening to this podcast was a joy and having the opportunity to listen to a conversation that stated many facts about their lives which made me aware of things from mine that connected. Learning about how everyone in upcoming generations are developing depression and/or ADHD shows that society is getting worse in terms of mental health. The reason for this may be due to the pressure and expectations past generations have put upon us to continue on with their work as they begin to pass. Nevertheless, thank you to Lou and Mike for creating this discussion and for not being afraid to be vulnerable. I know for me I learn that I am indeed not alone when it comes to this side of mental health.

People who are looking for therapy advice please go to therapy! Don’t listen if you are expecting someone to tell you what to do. It’s not a one size fits all. This is what is working for them. Might not for you. This is a truly a phenomenal podcast. I’m not looking for advice, but I love...Read full review »

I honestly had to stop listening and unsubscribe. Lou is so unempathetic toward Mike and it just makes me so sad. Allegedly they’re supposed to be friends, but there just seems to be no effort to try to understand where Mike is coming from. Run, Mike, run!
