“I am really happy to find this podcast. I was an ‘adopted’ baby in January 1964 born in Crown Street. I’m under the impression I was just a handover. My biological parents had met my adopted parents before I was born. When a teenager I applied for my birth certificate but I didn’t exist. It had to be done by deed poll. Officially my adopted parents were put as if biological ones on that document. I also was kidnapped for money or so I was told. I’m still trying to unravel who consented to all of this. Abandonment and disconnection is still with me. Its very confusing and alienating.”
