“Steve Gibson is the focus of the podcast, with Leo Laporte asking the occasional question and reframing Steve has mentioned on several occasions that he doesn't have the time to rehearse the show (although I do believe he spends a significant amount of time researching) and it can show when his explanations get cryptic and meandering. Steve isn't afraid to tackle complex subjects such as PKI or DNSSec. A significant portion of the show is spent plugging SpinRite and Audible, neither of which has anything do to with security. I understand they have to pay the bills, but the stories begin sounding the same rather quickly. I started skipping the first third of the podcast to get past most of it. This show has potential and gives you information that is only topical in other places.”Read full review »

“This is a good podcast for those who want to learn about security and how things work (or are supposed to). The reason for the three stars instead of five is because Steve can come off as a bragart sometimes (ok, alot) - a more modest Steve and this is a great podcast.”
