Love the stories and Mark and Bethan way of presenting a story in an interesting and always respectful way. Mark and Bethan’s personalities mesh perfectly together and I love hearing both of their thoughts and opinions during the cases. Thank you guys for what you do. I’m a long time supporter...Read full review »

So listening to maniac on the wards episode and it seems that there is a confusion Hyperglycaemia is high blood sugars. HYPOglycaemia is low blood sugar, adding artificial insulin can cause this. I’m type 1 diabetic

It’s like listening to 2 really stupid children, they know zero about there subject, no doubt did a quick google search, and then they preach to you as if you are really stupid. Maybe they know you are dumb if you listen. The most annoying presenters I have ever come across. My suggestion...Read full review »

You ruin your credibility when you repeat the nonsense heard on CNN. if you want to talk about politics talk about your own. The UK seems lovely at the moment. Repeating nonsense about Trump you hear on the mainstream media makes me realize you don’t do serious research.

Bethan is a pleasure to listen to. Mark, on the other hand, is a nauseatingly opinionated notice box. He is happy to offer opinions at every turn, usually scathing criticisms and sweeping uninformed generalisations. Very tiresome. Most disagreeable is his glib self-righteousness. Yuk.

I think you do thorough research and present the stories well, but I find the way you interrupt each story to chat and re-present the story in different words is annoying. Maybe I am not representative of the audience you are aiming at. Maybe your intended audience are fools who need the story...Read full review »

I listened to this podcast for about a year on and off. Although the cases are interesting, I find the delivery a bit off putting. I listen to other podcasts that stick to the facts. These guys give a lot of their personal opinion of what the murdered would have been thinking etc like they are...Read full review »

Hands down my favourite podcast ever! I love the banter but equally how serious you can be when trying to respectfully tell the story of each case. Just about to start my 4th cycle through episodes!

Absolutely love Seeing Red!! The hosts give a brilliant insight to true crime whilst being incredibly respectful to the victims and their families! The recent episode on Holly Willoughby blew my mind! I had no idea so much had happened!! Brilliantly researched, well explained and all done with a...Read full review »

Amazing podcast with friendly hosts. You can tell the research for each case is very thorough and even though I consider myself a true crime fan there are so many cases covered that I knew little or nothing about. I started with the David Kelly episode and then I was hooked. Episode release day...Read full review »

Really broad range of cases but the casual xenophobia, swearing and celebration of ignorance from the male host is off-putting.

I was surprised when I saw your show only had a 4.4 rating. I am from the US and for those who rated you poorly because they took offense to how Trump is perceived; well I am sure you got it right. Anyway, politics aside, your research and content is good and it is presented well too. Thank you.

Two people who just love the sound of their own voices and present their personal opinions, biases and incorrect information as facts and the truth. It's astounding just how much supposition they bandy about and how much they love to glorify what's happening in the story they are...Read full review »

I’ve been a Seeing Red listener for around a year now and have finally listened to the back catalogue too. Every episode is well researched and well told. Bethan and Mark are great hosts - plenty of interesting debates and a lot of laughs along the way.

Ive come back to this podcast and then remembered why I stopped listening. Podcast OK until the presenters start giving their options, which are often very misinformed & extremely naive. Their “sympathy” often sounds disingenuous & Marks swearing is unnecessary & cringing. It’s 2024...Read full review »

I’ve literally only come across this podcast in the past week or so and I already absolutely LOVE it. The presenters seem pleasant and some of the criticisms here are unnecessarily personal. The cases are interesting but the delivery lacks personality for me - the swearing sounds forced and at times it’s like listening to a Wikipedia entry being read out.
BrendanJabbers via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/19/24
The hosts have little understanding of the law, social care, mental health processes etc so often make poorly misjudged guesses which are akin to spreading misinformation. Not helpful for a platform such as this. Do some research, speak to some professionals in the fields.

I listened as I like true crime and it’s free but this is one of the worst. The hosts deviate constantly from the story on irrelevant issues and the swearing is excessive.

The best thing I got out of my last relationship was being told about this podcast ☺️ Beth and Mark are great. Although I feel we know next to nothing about Mark still…spill those beans!

I love true crime but making light about Gareth Williams is. Step too far. The “Panties” was not funny, not the first time nor any of the any other times that it was said.

I love this podcast. They tell the victims’ stories respectfully and that’s extremely important to me. But I also love listening to it because of the hosts’ voices. While both of their voices are nice, Bethan’s in particular is so lovely to listen to. Highly recommend.

There is no need to shame parents for occasionally using babysitters when they go on holiday. I’d like to know how many children you each have? We don’t all have the luxury to leave our children at home with their grandparents so therefore rely on babysitters so we can at least have a date night....Read full review »

I’ve tried and tried to like this podcast, and I’m now going to stop. They both sound like they’ve been punched in the stomach when they talk, and the constant interruptions repeating whatever the speaker just said is really annoying. Bye!
