Listen now
Description
One of NBC's highest-rated shows, which currently gets around 10 million weekly viewers, is The Good Place. The show is based on the idea of someone who wakes up in the afterlife in heaven. One of the character's in that place is Chidi, who you think is going to be a typical "nerd" stereotype but turns out to be a much deeper character than meets the eye. Joan talks with his brother Joao (Soft Glas) about Chidi's character and what makes him unique. They also talk about how that plays into the series overall, which is created by Michael Schur (Co-Creator of Parks and Rec + Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and was a Producer/Writer on The Office).
