Just have to say NOT up to the usual slumber studios standard ;sorry but can’t believe this is even being considered as worth listening to however I am a dedicated get sleepy premium member and will continue to be so as the host Tom just has the most fantastic bedtime voice as far as I am...Read full review »

This was a great podcast with a massive range of content but then they added loud, annoying ads that wake me up. What’s the point in a sleep podcast that wakes you up?!?

AI computer talking, annoying

I think it’s unfair of you to put consecutive episodes of a story such as 2000 leagues under the sea, which I don’t like, as this can go on for weeks and there there is nothing new to listen to. Please put one episode out once a month so in between we can have more of the stories we like please?

So happy I found this podcast as it puts me to sleep every night! Andrew made me obsessed with Poirot and I can’t wait to hear the next parts of Anna Karenina. You improve my quality of life so much! Thanks for all you do!

Please! Arrrrgh!!!!! Why did you erase chapters 1 and 2 of The Secret Garden? I am sobbing in my pillow.

I have insomnia, and I’ve listened to a lot of sleep inducing podcasts. This (and only one other podcast) is the best of all I’ve tried. My favorite of Andrew’s readings is Emily of New Moon. Also, thank you for presenting the story episodes in daily order.

Great stories, unnatural robot-like delivery meant I had ti turn it off after 5 mins.

I love this podcast and the slow quiet pace. It’s exactly what I’m looking for, gentle stories, no sudden noises, no loud music or sound effects. I’m really loving Emily of New Moon, a classic I never read when I was younger.

I like the story selection but because there’s the story with music and then without, you can’t listen sequentially. The halting reading style can be a bit hard to relax too, as it’s not natural and a bit stilted. But the selection is great, and I do love all the Sherlock Holmes!

EDIT: I just have to say again and again how much I love this podcast. Thank you Andrew for curing my insomnia with your beautiful hypnotic voice and charm reading these wonderful stories that I do eventually listen to in full. You are just a gift. Thank you so much! I love the stories and your voice pulls me to sleep. Some mispronunciation of words but overall good. I am enjoying the Emily series immensely. Appreciate the improvements!

As someone who’s tried everything to get to sleep I can’t tell you how good this is After the first week I literally only catch the first five minutes and I’m fast asleep.

I’ve listened to many sleep podcasts, and Andrew is able to soothe my mind gently, and then to read, thankfully without being monotone, and keep it interesting but soothing. I’ve yet to be awake at the endings. I enjoy his format and highly recommend this!

I would love this podcast if it weren’t for the fact that the reader uses different accents and voices for different people. There is no need for the different voices, as people who follow the story can tell who is speaking from the context. His “French” accent for Hercule Poirot is so awful...Read full review »

A great voice to lull me to sleep and to calm my racing thoughts.

At first I thought the story telling was odd but I realised there’s a method in the tones because within minutes of starting a story I’ve drifted off. I love the Agatha Christie stories although I’ve yet to get the hear the end :)

So glad the series is read in order. Good thinking. Head and shoulders above those teasers who jump around in their readings.

Most nights I sleep well, but there are some nights when I’m restless, with random thoughts running through my head. This podcast has been a marvel. I just plug my phone into a charger, using a long cord, and put the phone under my pillow. I’m asleep in no time! It doesn’t matter what the reading...Read full review »

Have been listening to these podcasts for a while now, and I think just the sound of Andrew’s voice has conditioned me to nod off. The stories are well balanced so they are interesting, but not so gripping as to keep you awake (apart from the yosemite. That’s so annoyingly dull it keeps you...Read full review »

It’s too bad, this podcast has a good idea but poor execution. The voice is so odd and so clearly a fake “robot” doing it. Any reviewer who praises the voice is probably a fake review.

Andrew has a great ability to calm and lull you to sleep. I just wish he would read the entire book instead of jumping to another. Nevertheless I find this as the best podcast to send me to sleep! Thank you so much!

(First, I agree that the time lapse between stories or chapters is too long. I’d rather follow one or two through to the end.) The narrator’s voice is slow, calm and pleasant. However as a suggestion, there is a need to pronounce foreign words correctly in these stories. In Heidi I noticed...Read full review »

I love Andrew’s voice. It’s very soothing and relaxing. I do wish that the podcast was structured in a way that one book was read at a time or that episodes could be arranged by book in proper chapter order. Also, a quick recap of the previous chapters/episode for each book would be lovely at the...Read full review »

Tough crowd, I suspect most of these reviews saying the voice sounds creepy and robotic are from kids. I’m grateful for this podcast. I love his voice and the content. Continue doing such a great job and allowing me to get to sleep. Zzzz
