Oh my god, this was a FANTASTIC story! I was a little skeptical at first when I realized the writer was also the reader, as I generally find author read stories tend to be a little bland. But not only does Brion Humphrey write a great story, he has great inflection in his reading. Highly...Read full review »

Lets start with the bad, the author reads the book, and he projects voices well, BUT, sometimes it can get a bit exhausting. But if that is the only thing I can complain about then it is an A book. haha. It really is awesome and if you are looking for a thriller.

I find it very hard to move into another authors realm. Sometimes it takes a chapter or two before I am hooked. This story took many more chapters to hook me, the only reason I stuck with it for so long was "desperation" I commute several hours each morning and evening so I "need audiobooks"...Read full review »

Brion's narration of this story is fabulous! And the story is better than fabulous! It drew me in and I listened obsessively until I finished. Listen to this. You won't be sorry!

Brion's narration was fantastic. This book dragged me into its world and then slowly unraveled it's weird mysteries, pulling me along all the while with little character quirks and jokes that cracked me up. It is dark, funny, twisty and mysterious. I could never tell what was going to happen next...Read full review »

Really great story! Such vivid detail without getting bogged down with similes (give a listen to see what I mean). Well paced, great voice. Want more from this writer. Great job!

Loved this book. It has great pacing, well developed characters, and an amazing story line. This story has a Dean Koontz feel to it.

Not only has Humphrey built a vary solid story, but his performance brought it to life! His reading was far from flat, his characterization was clear, and his voice is very easy to listen to. My only complaint is that it had to end!

The author has a good speaking voice and differentiates between characters extremely well. As soon as I started listening to the first episode I knew I'd be listening to the whole book like a junky needing a fix. The story is dark, suspenseful, unpredictable and funny to boot. Looking forward...Read full review »

I just finished listening to Sense Memory after only a few days, and I am hooked to this author's storytelling! I am an avid audio book junkie and found that I couldn't stop listening to this story. I loved the characters, the story, and attention to detail. I thought the author did an amazing...Read full review »

I think the author did a great job distinguishing for the different characters, that made it very easier to listen to. Additionally, the story is very discriptive and paints and great world. However, there were a lot of characters, and it was hard to care about any of them until I understood...Read full review »
