Like they're in your living room
They're not condescending (unless you're religious, in which case you'll probably hear things that are not there), they don't treat the audience like an audience, they don't take cheap shots and keep throwaway statements to a minimum, and the humour is quiet, subtle and tasteful. If you've listened to the Cognitive Dissonance podcast, then this is like coming home after a raucous, drunken party. This podcast is just two intelligent guys having a conversation about topics that affect everyday people, discussed in everyday parlance.
