In May 2021, Niko Omilana, a famous Youtuber and Content Creator joined the race for the London mayoral elections and came fifth (5th). Please note this was the first time he ever ran and when asked why he did it, he said "I did it for the vibes".  The youth have power if only they can do their due diligence, engage in political affairs and take charge.
