“These guys break down film scores in exactly the ways that make me want to listen: with love, reverence, and a deep knowledge of the medium and its history. I’ve listened to these shows at least once if not twice (“The Omen” episode, thrice). I seriously can’t get enough of this kind of intellectual, passionate discussion!
One of the best things about their approach is a sincere attempt to understand the composer’s intentions, yet if the follow through falls short of passing film score muster, they aren't afraid to call it a fail.
