Concerned
I really hope, as others have expressed, that future episodes include interviews with experts in child trauma and the various ways it presents both in childhood, adolescence and in adult life. I’m concerned this podcast might become a sensationalist defence of the the parents as I’m already sensing a victim blaming undertone. Editing after listening to episode 5. This podcast is disturbing in its defence of of the father in the case. I was hoping for nuance as it progressed and got the opposite. This is appalling journalism which I cannot believe has been published with the support of The Australian who should be ashamed of the clearly biased way in which this was presented. It’s making me question the presentation of other podcasts from the masthead such as The Teacher’s Pet.
