“Hard to believe this isn't written by a many-times published author. The story is interesting, never drags, and definitely leaves you wanting a sequel. If you're a fan of Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles, then Shadowmagic is definitely for you. The main character is very believable and shows a great sense of humor. The Celtic mythology references are not convoluted and confusing, but are presented as the backdrop for the story. It is written in a straightforward way and keeps you listening.
