“I am writing this review because the reviews written so far are from people who haven’t actually listened to this exceptional podcast.
Based on the high standard of Teacher’s Pet and Night Driver, I decided to submit to the pay wall and it has proven to be worth it. There are two episodes out so far. Based on these initial episodes I can report that they are on par with Hedley’s (and team) previous podcasts. By on par, I mean that the subject matter is treated with journalistic integrity, sensitivity and respect for all involved.
Hedley Thomas (host) won the Gold Walkley award for Teacher’s Pet. For non Australians, the Gold Walkley is a significant journalism award bestowed upon journalists for outstanding contribution to journalism.
I totally get the frustration regarding podcasts being listed but not yet available. It’s really annoying. However, I find reviews are most helpful when based on content. Have a little patience. It’s a really worthwhile listen! Importantly, it may bring Shandee’s family and friends closer to getting justice for Shandee.”
