Gratuitous gore
I like Hadley Thomas and his work for the Australian, his previous podcasts have been brilliantly put together. This episode, however, just goes too far with the gory details of the murder. I don’t know if it’s because Hadley himself has become desensitised over the years, which is understandable, but I struggle to see how the gore actually aids the solving of the mystery.

More reviews of Shandee's Story
Another fantastic podcast from Hedley. I look forward to the episode each week. He is very thorough and provides information clearly and factually engaging the listener from the first time you hit ‘play.’ I hope it can lead to some answers.

Wow
Such a sad story - well told & I truely hope justice can be made for this beautiful soul. Worth a listen - now for the faint hearted but Shandees story needs to be heard 🥰

Once again Hedley Thomas takes us deep into the intricacies of a cold case. Another brilliant example of investigative journalism which may assist in resolving Shandee’s murder by unearthing information and encouraging people to come forward who may know something. Well done Hedley and team.
