“Giving a one-star rating simply because you have to wait three weeks to get an amazing product for free really smacks of entitlement. Good journalism has to be funded. Do you work for free? Do you feed your family on air? You pay bakers, dairy farmers and tradies for their labour, you pay for streaming services, so why expect to reap the labour of journalists for free? The Australian is just 50cents a day or $25 a year if you use a student card. Or just wait three weeks and listen for free. One-star ratings on this basis are pretty slimy behaviour. Fair go, mateys.”
