“I have and continue to be a massive fan of the podcast and think it has been imperative in getting momentum leading to an enquiry. I admire Kirsty Wright…. However, I think the level of criticism directed at the acting CEO is unwarranted. It is simply not feasible for an expert to be able to get to the ins and outs of something so complicated in such a short time frame. I can’t even imagine how many documents she must have been presented, whilst holding down a full time job. Absolutely overwhelming amount of work. I think her work in the job will be the true litmus test. We must remember to maintain our humanity on all sides and I think this last episode was unjust in its level of criticism. All these concerns could have been aired but it was done in such a critical way and made it seems like it was just an attempt to get another podcast out of the story. It’s really made me sad, frustrated and question the intent.”
