Compassion is at the heart of these podcasts
There are many podcasts around but there are a few you just cannot wait to listen to the next episode. Shapes of Grief with Liz Gleason is one of those. She has mastered the art of interviewing. She allows the speaker their own style while she tunes in to that style, thereby drawing the listener in. She manages to get to the heart of the rawest feelings of grief and is able to hold the speaker and the listener safe, allowing them the silent space and time to reflect and learn. This is an art form only someone with years of experience in the world of bereavement and counselling is able to pull off so professionally yet so personally. Whether you are grieving or come across death, dying and bereavement in your work life, the richness of choice of speakers and the topics have something to offer for everyone. Liz’s art is to combine life, death, laughter, sadness and wonder together with the musical tones of her voice,in a hour which will stay with you, long after the podcast is over.

Liz has a way of drawing the audience in so that they are right there with her and the interviewee. Sensitive and honest.
