“I was unable to finish the first episode. The black men in this cast fit into one of two stereotypes: ghetto thug (complete with "N" word all the time) and the house slave who assumes he is too good for other black people. I was pretty much done after that.”

“I wasn't sure that I could listen to the book due to the first few chapters. The idea of "dose" was a little nauseating. However, I am so glad I continued. The character development was intriguing and created an enticing storyline. Overall, it was a really good book and I loved the ending.”
