Victim shaming
I really liked this podcast, but it really surprised me in the first season fourth episode when the podcaster and then his wife is questioning this poor mother for not showing enough emotion during her interviews after seven years I’m sure she’s just running on autopilot this poor woman has been through hell you’re interviewing her seven years later after she lost her children she’s done thousands of interviews. Just because this is a novelty to you does not make it new to her. She’s allowed to be emotionless if she wants while talking about a horrific event. Until you have lived through something like that beck off and show some respect, she's allowed to separate her emotions. She has prevailed in horrible circumstances.Read full review »

I like the podcast but the sound isn’t good at all. It flips back and forth between being too quiet or too loud, esp when it flips back and forth between a phone conversation and the narrator’s voice. Quite frustrating especially when you’re driving!

This podcast is wonderful! Such a riveting and interesting story, and very thoughtfully presented. Binge worthy!

I like this podcast, but the episode about the Amish made me so uncomfortable. It seemed really intrusive and condescending towards them.
