About Katherine
Life in California was great. Katherine had a longstanding political career and was married with three amazing children. Everything was picture-perfect. But life often takes unexpected turns. After being married for over 20 years, she and her husband divorced. She focused on her children and work, but life was no longer how she imagined it should be. Between work, being a single mother, and trying to keep everyone happy, the stress began to be too much and even began to affect her health.
Life began to quickly pass her by and she had to make a change. When she was married, she and her husband dreamed of someday retiring to Spain. She decided to continue the dream without him. She was fortunate to have a Spanish mother, so she could move with Spanish citizenship. But moving has only been the beginning of the journey.
