Patronising and dull
I need say little more: there is a plethora of fab crime podcasts around (try All About the Dame for Agatha fans). This simply isn’t in their league. The narration is monotone, sleep-inducing and smacks of “head girl lecturing the first form”. I particularly did not need a little lecture on why 20s music was being employed - I’d kind of worked it out without needing the knowing little explanation. Move on!

I really enjoy this podcast. It's very well researched and as a fan of detective novels (specially Agatha Christie's novels) this podcast is perfect for me. A few episodes made look at the novels from another point of view so I'm re-reading them.Read full review »

Such a great podcast! Lots of research clearly goes in to each episode and Caroline is an engaging host. The episodes are always fascinating, even if like me, you’re not that familiar with detective fiction. Highly recommend!
