This is my number one, favorite podcast. Ryan, Dan, and Dr. Rosie have a lot of fun, and they also provide a lot to think about. I’m just happy there are people out there as enthusiastic about sheep, shepherding, and wool as me! Keep up the good work!

This is a great show with friendly, knowledgeable host and guests. My only comment is some episodes need more detail in the title and description. I’d like to know the content of an episode before committing an hour of listening.

An entertaining podcast full of relevant perspectives and practical thoughts on sheep production.

Great information. The hosts are so generous with their time and the information they present. Dan is just so awesome that I started following his Facebook farm page as well. During weeks Dan is off there is too much silliness, giggling, discussing off topics including weather (a LOT),...Read full review »

The way the host starts the interview, and then immediately goes off topic on some story he wants to tell, makes me turn it off immediately. It’s a waste of time. This is happened every time I’ve listen to one of these Podcasts.

I want you to know that I love the podcast, BUT… industries and people have a tendency to pull up the ladder behind themselves when they do well. You had me until you said GOVERNMENT…. If you involve them in an effort to secure the volatility of the market it ALWAYS ENDS BAD! Look at milk,...Read full review »

The October 27 episode On the Move had a tremendous amount of information. However Dan constantly cleared his throat throughout the e show. Take a drink of water, an allergy pill, or lozenges.

This is one of the better sheep-related podcasts out there. And, to be perfectly straight-forward and honest, it’s likely the best. Though we are living in the era of the sheep podcast craze and there are countless options out there, I still choose Sheep Stuff 100 out of 100 times.

I really appreciate the detail in describing processes and how positive the speakers are. Listening to the wool episode this morning, and it answers several questions I’ve been pondering about my wool potential. Excited to do more research for my area!

I’ve listened to every episode of “Sheep Stuff” since the spring, and would recommend this podcast to anyone interested in livestock. Getting a glimpse into the world of ranching is fascinating and I appreciate all of the different facets of the business that Ryan and Dan explore in their...Read full review »

Glad to have found this podcast, Dan and Ryan are both enjoyable to listen to and very knowledgeable about a variety of sheep topics. Keep the episodes coming!

If there is no real benefit for wool production why not run dorpers? Or hair breed crosses so the belly is clean and they still shed fairly well. Hair breeds too wild for range management?

I enjoy the general ag, business and especially the sheep content. One of the most informative resources I have found relating to the sheep industry.

Great show, it’s good to hear from two different ranchers on two different methods of the basics of running sheep. Keep up the great work, I’ll be looking forward to more episodes.

It’s great to have guys who walk the walk also talk the talk: this is straight from the horse’s—or sheep’s—mouth and gives real life current insights to stuff you’d only herd rumors of before.
