from Deformed to Reformed!
Dear Reader I am new to the Reformed Faith and i have to tell you that is has not been easy, i grew up in a church that named it and claim it you know the type. I was so confused about doctrine and God that I honestly thought I could claim super powers and God would actually give them to me. After getting married I left the Church almost for good I even got introuble with the law and it nearly destroyed my family. I was at the bottom of the bucket when one day on my way home from work i turned on the radio and Dr. Doubson was on the radio with special guest Ravi Zacharias and I learned for the first time about about apologetics. from that show I learned about Ryan Doubson's podcast which is no longer on it was called "Core Cast" and he had a guest on named Greg Koukl from stand to reason, it was one of his podcasts that heared a clear gospel message and I fell to my knees and bagged God for his mercy and I believe that night in my aprtment alone i was truly saved at the age of 22. I continued to listen to Greg and started to go to a Calvary Chapel where the Lord used the Pastor of this small church to teach me many things about the Bible and Hermeneutics, whitch lead me to question some of the teachings about Soteriology. I heard about William Laine Craig from Stand to Reason and started to listen to his two podcast and at one point considered myself a Molinist but after months of listening to his (Dr. Craig's) Defenders podcast something seemed off every time he gave the explanation for Molinism, Arminianism, and Calvinists view of different passages i would often noticed even though not 100% in his discription of Calvinism it seemed to fit the Bible passage the best. So I started to look for Reformed thinkers and I remember hearing from somewhere about Micheal Horton so I picked up his book "For Calvinism" and not to be unbalanced I also picked up "Against Calvinism" by Roger Olson, not to be mean to Dr. Olson but what a waist of time his book was I will never get those hours back. When I finished reading "for Calvinism" i looked for somehting deeper to read after having my whisle wet, I then remember in passing from a member of our church who is a King James Only person menton Dr. James White, obviously not in a good way he happened to say Dr. White is a Calviinist as well. A Calvinist? I said to myself and looked him up and I found his book "potters freedom" that book cemented my faith in the reformed tradition. that is how I went from Deformed to Reformed and how William Laine Craig made me a Calvinist! All of that I had to say so you would know how importain it was to me to hear about this podcast so that I could not only learn from these two wonderful ladies but to also let me wife listen to this and have her learn and grow as well, she often asked me why is everything you give me from a Guy don't you have anything from a Girl? Well now I do and it's better than i could have hoped for, so thank you Joy and Summer for this podcast and keep up the good work. God Speed MatthewRead full review »

If you're picky about Truth and accuracy, Sheologians is for you. I value actual Truth above all things and Summer will give you just that. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air in a day and age full of bad theology ❤️
