“I have listened to this podcast since it began, and every so often Josie (talking as if we were friends) requests for those who like it, to review it. I don't know why I haven't. I have tried to encourage friends to listen to it (several times in fact... I am starting to question my effectiveness). So I shall instead try this method. This podcast is wonderful. I have laughed and cried my way through it (no joke... I was walking around the vegtable section of Morrisons with tears in my eyes during one story). Josie is a captivating host; she has a way of engaging the listener in a way that makes you feel as though you are sat around a fire and she's the one holding the book. She is witty, thoughtful, articulate, but importantly not brash. She is the metronome that keeps the rhythm of the podcast but lets the stories and the story tellers take the spotlight. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, this podcast will take you on a journey and you will come away feeling more wholesome; whether you learn something new, have a little laugh, or perhaps connect on a deeper level with one of the speakers, you will be glad you have listened. Just make sure you are not doing anything else at the same time, this needs your full attention.”Read full review »

The stories are diverse and captivating some I have listened to again and again and one moved me...”Read full review »
