Vapid nonsense
Posting this following the Blake Lively episode. It takes a certain brand of feminism to irresponsibly publish a conversation about something you are not equipped or educated enough to speak on. It would have been more appropriate to have done this topic speaking about Jennifer Lopez, as that situation has less sensitive intricacies. But she isn’t the demographic their brand of feminism cares for. If the movie in question was about EDs, they wouldn’t be justifying or complacent with the way the movie was marketed or promoted. They would condemn it, in the same way the profitable diet culture industry is rightfully condemned by them. Even if you ignore how badly they handled the DV elements, it was also a poorly researched episode. Such an irresponsible use of a platform.

Just a piece of constructive advice, Em please stop interrupting Alex! And more balance between the two of you would be great as there were a lot of monologues from Em. That aside, I enjoyed the topical chats and I look forward to listening in the new year.
