Stunned to hear on sound school
I was so shocked to hear the host on the sound school pod cast talking about how this was all a game. Despite the conceit of the show to be looking at serious issues, she decided that she was a character. In episode 4, Jess tells her three sources that episodes 2 and 3 are about them. This is not, in fact, true. None of this series is about them.
