Telling It How It Is
If you are family, friends, care givers or just the curious about what its like living with a disease – and fancy a damn good belly laugh along the way - then this podcast is for you. Three young Canadian amigos chew the cud about what it’s like living with Cystic Fibrosis (and other equally annoying conditions). One of the trio (oh hell, let’s go with musketeers) has the disease and the other two are asking the question we all would like to do but are afraid to ask – ‘What’s it really like?’ There’s no renting of robes and gnashing of teeth, no ‘why me?’, no pity, no patronisation, just three mates offering you the chance to eavesdrop on their conversation and banter. And it’s good – very good. You’ll laugh, you may cry, but you will come away feeling that it’s OK to confront illness with humour and just gosh darn talk about it! Don’t delay – give them a go whilst you still can (Jeremy ain’t going to be around for long - YOLO) and enjoy what can only be described as sick* humour. *Sick in the way these Millennial types mean it. Not sick like 'ill' or 'socially unacceptable... just listen, OK?!Read full review »
