“Hi Anthony and Harrison,
Firstly, just want to say that I'm a big fan of this podcast, and I really enjoy hearing your insights on the Lakers on my drive to work every day.
My question(s) are the following:
1 )What do you think is the Lakers' Plan B right now if they miss out on AD in these trade negotiations? None of the big name free agents that had been linked to the Lakers earlier in the year (KD, Kawhi, Jimmy, Klay, etc.) seem like they'll be available in July.
2) Related to the above, one name that I feel deserves some attention is Nikola Vucevic. He's an all star center who can shoot, rebound, and has shown improvement on defense this year. He'd be a good fit next to Bron and fill a position of need on the team if we miss out on other big names. This might not be the sexiest name on the board, but shouldn't the prospect of retaining the kids and adding an all star center to the fold at least be considered a desirable Plan B to the idea of trading all the kids / picks / cap space etc. for AD?
