“Sincerely C team, this podcast is everything! These are the types of stories people need to hear. But I have one major, potentially deal breaking, piece of criticism and I know I'm not alone. Your ad/sponsor shoutout structure is all WRONG. I mean, breaking it up throughout the podcast is a horrible way to keep your listeners engaged. It's the whole reason why people have left TV and moved towards podcasts. Please think about moving all the sponsor shoutouts to the very beginning or saved for the very end. And don't let these sponsors have an impact on whether you can or cannot do that. I say this because this podcast has so much potential and I think a lot of humanity would benefit from these stories. But pleaseeeee, follow the JRE model of putting sponsors at the beginning and/or end. There's a reason he's been in the top 10 podcasts lists for the past 2 years now.
I'm giving this 5 stars because I know there's a producer on the team who will perhaps see this and speak up. Serving your viewers rather than your sponsors has always been the formula.”Read full review »
