Can’t stand Gus, it’s bad enough having to hear him while watching the footy

Great listen. The check list sounds fascinating. Any chance I can purchase a copy. You should make an app up. Regards Dennis

This was such a great episode - loooooved Gus’s stories 🤣🌷And all his knowledgeable commentary and brilliant football brain was on full display as well again. A week without six tackles with Gus and James is just not complete. Go the Storm🙏👍🌺

Hey gents, I love the podcast and keep it all in. Gus is the 🐐

I want to hear about footy. Not 30 minutes of Gus talking about his car in 1971. Gus even says no one is interested in this. Talk about the bloody game

Best podcast there is, it takes me an hour to drive home and I enjoy the stories of the old days and what goes on in Gus’ mind - also a massive James Bracey fan, such a great host. 10/10

Loving the longer episodes guys keep it up. Gus your mates will have to go on longer walks!
wamsgans via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/01/21
Easily the best episode I have listened to. We just don’t hear that side of the business. Loved every minute.
The Silver Saint via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/27/21
If i could give it zero stars i would. Gould has to make it all about himself. He spends most of his time mumbling which makes it hard to understand what he is babbling on about.

Gus on message as usual. Was that a crusher by Pangai last night? Doesn't matter because he was attacking. Game is going down the rabbit hole.Read full review »

I can’t say anything bad about James, he does a job, sometimes I feel like he’s a bit obsessive with Gus for lack of a better word though. Matthew Thompson is just better suited to a football podcast with Gus, he’s great on and Freddy and the eighth too.

Gus’ insight is bang on the mark; I never miss an episode. The opening credits sound like someone dropping their Guts.

Gus is brilliant in the Episode for Round 8. I listen in from London every week. Fantastic Insight for someone like me who follows the NRL from the other side of the World.
Mick the Pom via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/29/21
Really good podcast covering Gus’s views on contemporary NRL issues. James’ sycophantic rimming of Gus prevails throughout, but that’s ok.
tezza101 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/07/21
Classic Gus love it !!! Most definitely knows all about the game age and experience shows for sure .. He has seen it all and knows how to manage and control teams on and off the field
Loznelz2010 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/05/21
Gus repeats himself throughout each podcast to hammer home a point gets very old. The stories of players in their junior days is the best part eg Matt Singh

You need to replay this to Gus when they bring in this technology and send out of the country 👍😄

The best Rugby League discussion on any platform full stop. Thanks Gus and James.

Have always love Gus and Brace has been the greatest addition to the NRL family over the years. My week is never complete unless I’ve listened to Gus and Brace! Thanks boys 😂
LM8420 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/23/21
What Gus doesn’t know about league is probably not worth considering and “Brace” is fearless.

Absolute dribble by an outdated irrelevant clown in Gould

Great Podcast. Great People. 5 Stars

Even as a Queenslander, I really enjoy Gus' analysis of the game and James is great at asking questions that inspire Gus to go on a rant. I think he's the most insightful of all the commentators and sees everything happening in games, both on and off the Ball. I think there's enough...Read full review »

In the early days of the podcast there was some interesting football analysis. Now the show have turned into the thoughts of Phil Gould on everything from the pandemic to his taste in movies. The show is 15% football and 85 % the world according to Gus. The 15% football is mostly Gus using the...Read full review »

You played, you coached and you have used all your knowledge to give transparency to all who are not at the heart of the game. I love your insight and I use your strategies to coach my students in the surf. Practical, positive , nonabrasive coaching and mentoring. One of my favourite podcasts!

Love Gus’s view on footy James compliments him very well as he does Freddie and Joey (the eighth) and 100% footy

I could listen to Gus all day, good fella, great footy knowledge. James does a great job too!

Great pod cast. Gus is an asset to the game , and is well supported and kept in line by his host James Bracey

Hmm
They randomly talk about cricket on a rugby league podcast
i_am_the_1 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/27/19
Theres actually 2 teams playing Origin guys. Nineteen mins on the Blues - incl plenty on Gus’ love child Nathan Cleary and two on Qld - largely about how NSW needs to think abt them....,c’mon. Not the first time either....
jjmarooner via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/29/19
It loses 2 stars because of James Bracey.. I use to hate gus for his bias opinion but apart from rabs on commentary on channel 9, now gus isn’t bias or is channeling the great to take over a job, learning gus has now pulled his finger out I could listen to him all day, the guy knows what he is...Read full review »

Just enjoyed my first ep - gee, top quality and in depth insight. Always liked Gus on tv but this is something else. Punchy and to the point, top stuff from a legend of the game.

Gus did an outstanding job. I love hearing experts talk about the game.

I don't know why Gus seems to get a hard time, really enjoy this podcast, Gus has to be one of the most insightful thinkers, could listen to his ideas and thoughts for hours and I'm not a League tragic or Panthers supporter. Keep it going fellas.Read full review »
