Skylistening Through Joyland
If I were to sum up this wonderful poscast none word it would be, "joyful." Hosts Sarah and Richard seem to have a mandate to keep each exciting new episode tinged with a sense of joy and fun. You can hear it in their constant enthusaism, upbeat voices and even their unigue blend of humour, which is a natural outpouring of the fact that they are partners as well as co-podcasters. Their Star Wars reporting is as thorough as one could want, with al the news out there these days, and they get a lot of interesting guests. What I really appreciated was that their tastes seemes to branch from Star Wars into very like minded franchises. For example, I love Guardians of the Galaxy, it reminded me of the orginal Star Wars in that it was fresh and unexpected. So when they do episoded like ther recent review of Guadrdians Vol. 2, I'm there! I particulary loved a recent episode with Star Wars animated TV voice actor James Arnold Taylor, the conversation there was inpiring and movtivating. It motivated me to keep working towards my dreams! There is also a level of "radio show" professionalism that I very much appreciate, from cool little sound interludes to the shows varied music composed by Rob Dehlinger, as a musician myself, I really appreciate the attention to this element. This is a rare podcast that truly elevates the genre, with a sense of joy that remains true to the uplifting essence of the material they are covering.Read full review »

The combination of professional production values, access to events in LA, and a positive vibe by Richard and his "sweetie wife" Sarah! They make it fun! Looking forward to many more episodes!Read full review »
