“Yes, this is what I do when I listen to this podcast. I can't make it to either coast all to often, and this podcast keeps me up-to-date with tips and insider fan tidbits should I ever get the opportunity to visit during any events like Star Wars Weekends.
You can tell that Rich &Sarah both really enjoy not only researching or interviewing guests, but also creating the show. They are the embodiment of the good-humored hearts&souls of any fan base, in that they heartily embrace their compatriots with genuine excitement fellowship. I find it infectious as well as invigorating. They remind me of many times my friends and I would nerd out over a topic, all to the exasperated rolling eyes of my sometimes too-sensible (although appreciated for it) Lady Taxus. The fact that they take the very dangerous path of allowing their listener base to provide content and that they actually use the content is only one example that I can provide that helps ingratiate them to their listeners.
So yes, I don't often get the opportunity to explore my nerdy interests and so I find this show to be a great outlet that helps keep me in the know. (I write this as Game 4 of the NBA finals drones on in the background and such subject matter often takes up much of the conversation time at the Office of Evil.)
