Constructive Criticism for an Otherwise Fantastic Podcast
Absolutely love "Slaycation"! I binge-listened to nearly all the episodes within a week of discovering it. The blend of dark humor and true crime is both engaging and entertaining. However, I have two constructive criticisms that could enhance the listening experience: Include Image References in Show Notes: When you mention specific images or visuals, it would be incredibly helpful to include them in the show notes. This would allow listeners to follow along more easily and add an extra layer of context to the cases discussed. Translation of Non-English Place Names: When referring to places in non-English speaking countries, it would be great if you could provide the names in English as well. For example, I found it challenging to understand the names from Brazil and Mexico because they were read in Spanish. While this is not a huge issue, it can be confusing since Brazil’s names are in Portuguese, and Mexico has names in regional languages. If possible, using the original pronunciation or providing the names in English would be very helpful. I found it challenging to understand the names even though they were places I have been. It’s a bit worrying to hear about places I've visited on vacation, LOL. Other than these minor issues, the podcast is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to any true crime enthusiast! Please forgive any mistakes in my English, as it's my second language. Greetings from Argentina, and keep up the great work!Read full review »

Basically just 3 people having a conversation. Getting through the first episode was tough.

Jerry is the only host who is tolerable. The woman is not a good storyteller and her husband offers nothing substantial. All he does is interrupt her with questions… which would be answered if he’d only let her finish the story. He also makes fun of Latino names in the third (?) episode.
