Looking Back: Łódź, Poland
Listen now
Description
I'm wrapping up my three months in Łódź, Poland, a city often misunderstood and overlooked on the tourist map. Once labeled as Poland’s "ugliest city" (not my words!), Łódź has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past decade, blending its industrial roots with new, vibrant community spaces and beautiful architecture. From lessons I've learned about myself to how my approach to slow travel has evolved. From the art nouveau buildings on Piotrkowska Street to the bustling local food scene and my discovery of afternoon cake rituals (no regrets!), this city surprised me in the best possible ways.
