The dramatization is a lot I’m not going to lie- would really rather just have it audio book style just tell me the story but without the million sounds and music-

Could be a good podcast but the reading of the script is drama class 101 - too much for the listener.

Don’t listen to the pessimistic people in the reviews. Keep the name of the person as the title. It helps to understand who they are, if you are a true crime enthusiast you will want to do your own research on these people and the names as the titles helps you locate more information.

I have enjoyed Snapped for years. I love the way you cover each case. Thank you.

There is clearly one basic requirement to become a woman that kills… you have had to hit every single branch on your fall from the ugly tree. For the men out there, if your wife is unobjectively attractive you safe!

Too much audio effects and sounds … unnecessary

The narrator’s voice is so annoying and overly dramatic. I enjoy your podcast very much but this woman’s voice is simply ridiculous. I can’t stand listening to her and she has improved since I first started listening. Her intonation is so fake and distracting. I will no longer listen to any...Read full review »

The narration is so ridiculous, it’s like a parody of a crime show. It ruins the whole thing.

Love the podcast version of the show especially my favorite are the older episodes!

I agree w/ everyone else.. remove the killer name as the headline of the episodes either make up a title or use the name(s) of the victim(s)

I wish they would get someone else to narrate. You can find these same stories on countless other podcasts. Do that!

I'm in 100% agreement with the author of the review dated August 18, '24!!!! Please can you put the name of the deceased as the title instead of the killer, it ruins the suspense of who it could be! And the narrator sounds robotic!Read full review »

I love this podcast but it really needs more episodes, I had finished this podcast in 2 nights. I love the suspense thought especially Pamela Moss I love the suspense, but I would appreciate more episodes. Please add more episodes!

I surely hope Chrystal Weimer sues the socks off of y'all for airing her story after her exoneration. There is no journalistic integrity in this.Read full review »

The storytelling in this podcast is engaging, and I enjoy listening to it. The narratives are generally interesting and well-crafted. However, the production and editing leave much to be desired. Frequent errors, such as incorrect episode titles and mismatched content, detract from the overall...Read full review »

I love this show. I don’t watch a lot of tv but I use to watch snapped so I love that it is now in podcast form. People in the reviews are complaining about the sound effects. Y’all do realize this is a tv show that was just also put into podcast form. The titles of the episodes are the titles...Read full review »

Excellent podcast but by why are the adverts so damn loud!
Jojoninety via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/28/24
Constant background music / sounds incredibly distracting from story telling . Totally unnecessary. Spoils it .
Podcrime via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/25/24
The stories are good. The narrator has a pleasing voice to listen to. But the dramatic background music is overwhelming! Turn it down. The background music should not be a costar in the episode.

I’ve only just started listening to this podcast and have already come across three episodes where the title, description, show, and/or concluding status update don’t line up. Please double check before you post!

Love the podcast but wow. I have to turn down my volume as soon as an ad plays. The volume difference between the episode and ads is terrible.
Briaunar via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/20/24
The podcast is very interesting and try e narration is great BUT could you name the episodes after the victims and not the criminal? The focus should be on them, plus you wouldn’t know who the murderer was before the episode plays.

One of my favorite true crime podcasts. I just wish they had more episodes, I catch up to recent ones too quickly lol Keep doing what you’re doing, the stories make my jaw drop from the twists. I try not to look at the name of the episodes, that way it’s a surprise on who the perpetrator is.

I enjoy this podcast but 1. I wish the name of the killer wasn’t in the title. It takes away the suspense and trying to figure out who did it. 2. The narrator for the Wendi Davidson was absolutely terrible. The fake accent was almost insulting. The narrator for all of the episodes sounds like...Read full review »

One of my favorite podcasts! but please please fix the volume situation when the ads come on ! its soo loud almost lost my hearing lol
Amyneyney via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/14/24
Love the podcast, but I do everything in my power to not see the title, which is next to impossible, as it’s an immediate spoiler alert as to who dunnit. Takes all the suspense out of it. Consider not crediting the murderer and put the victims in the limelight and name them in the title.

Best podcast

Tried this today and couldn’t get through a single episode. The narrator sounds like a computer. It’s very detached from the story.

I really love this show and podcast, but 7 out of 10 times the episode is mislabeled. This is the 3rd time in 2 days
drealovesyou_xo via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/02/24
Genuinely love this podcast, it’s one of my favourites! However the ads are much much louder than the rest of the show which is really uncomfortable. I have to turn the volume up to hear the audio, then the ads start blasting in my ears.

The podcast is just audio directly form the show. It’s terrible. The sound for any police recording is garbled and if some isn’t speaking English there’s no translation. It’s so bad.
Amazonprincess09 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/19/24
I like this show a lot and want to keep listening to it, but I can’t understand half of the audio clips, and even the transcript doesn’t pick some of them up, and they never explain or repeat what was said, even if it’s crucial information.
Kenzapiller via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/16/24
The episode title and description sometimes don’t match the audio/story presented. As someone else stated, the audio is inconsistent with Snapped presentation and commercials. Hope the production improves.
BelleDom via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/24
These are well done crime reviews but some of my fascination for listening is to find out who the killer was. Wish this wasn’t given away in the title/opening.
SandyMcD via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 07/07/24
Love the snapped podcast. Full of so much suspense. The only con is that sometimes the episode titles doesn’t match the actual episode. Maybe it’s a glitch. Maybe someone can look into that?

I like the stories but the hosts voice is weird because of the hosts forced intonation when telling the story. She seems to want to speak forcefully because of the subject matter but her tone comes across as not a normal way of speaking because of how she emphasis certain words. Great podcasts…but I’m constantly having to turn the volume up and down. The commercials are way to loud I feel like they are screaming at me.
trayinsc via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/01/24
So glad it’s in podcast form!!!! Doesn’t get 5 stars though because commercials are SO loud but the actual show is turned down for some weird reason. I’m always having to adjust the volume.
