“Greatly” good, “Aggressively” verbose
I enjoy many of the insights of these two guys, and it’s always nice to hear thoughtful people discuss games. And I’m very happy to hear Mr Walker is out of the woods and back doing what he loves. But — pet peeve alert — for me, Mr Bigney uses far too many tautological adverbs. It’s clear he’s got a big vocabulary in his locker, I just find verbosity for the sake of it a bit pretentious. Isn’t it a mark of true intelligence when someone is able to convey their meaning directly, and knows the words *not* to use? If there’s insecurity at the heart of it, Mr Bigney, know that you are enough as you are. Please, be healed my child. Also, I bought Beowulf: The Legend on your recommendation. Many thanks.
