Intellectually satisfying board game content
SVWAG has really grown on me. They are easily the most thoughtful & articulate boardgame commentators, describing the different characteristics a game can have and what they personally like/don’t like about those characteristics. They discuss theme & mechanisms, but the main focus is on how the game feels to play and why it feels that way.

It is always difficult to know if you will like a boardgame. This is made worse by “professional” reviewers who are overly enthusiastic about all games they review.
