Informative and entertaining
Gina & Valerie - thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your podcast has taught me more in a few weeks than in the months / years I've spent googling my many photography questions. I only discovered the podcast late last year, first coming across the Cuban episode just a few weeks before I was actually heading to Cuba myself. Since then I've been hooked and spend my hour trips to and from work each day to catch up on all the episodes. I purchased Lightroom months ago but haven't used it as it is totally intimidating but your podcast has given me the confidence to tackle it head on. In the past week I've also created and launched my photography/travel website to put myself out there and overcome my fears. My contract role finishes in a couple of months and I'm going to use the unemployment to immerse myself in photography (and combine with my writing - I've just completed my second AWC course, thanks again Valerie!). I can't thank you enough for helping me build on my skills and open my eyes up to all things photography all the while making me laugh out loud to your banter. Thanks again, Carly :)Read full review »

I have been listening to your podcast for about 6 weeks now. I am a 58 yr old nana that has a fascination with taking photos. I have a canon d70 and my favourite lens is the 50mm, which I use to take head hand feet shots of my growing grandson. Keep up the great work and would appreciate any tips.

I recently found this and have been binge listening to it. Gina and Val make a great team. The shows are always full of great information and funny as well. If you listen to just one photographery podcast, make it this one!!

If you were born in the 60's like me, the fact that you can look up information for free on the internet probably still astounds you. Even moreso when it is provided in a clear and concise manner with some happy banter to keep it interesting thrown in. Gina explains concepts like a teacher,...Read full review »
