I loved it. There was no show notes. I wanted to read the article from the NYTimes relating to misinformation. Could you post the article?

I have done many searches for podcasts about living alcohol free, or support for women alcoholics, and never found this until I bought the book with the same name. I am 20 days sober today and have devoured a lot of “quit lit” both this time and in my previous attempts at stopping. This book and...Read full review »

This established Podcast is a wonderful resource for people who wish to remove alcohol from their lives. There are hundreds of episodes to choose from, but I recommend starting at the beginning and listening to them all. Cheers for Veronica and Chip !

I just listened to the microdosing episode- I found it difficult to listen to you both- you could have covered the subject and your opinions on it in 5 minutes. Then you both went on to lecture us. I think you both forgot where you came from

I find that trauma is the biggest gateway to addiction, and although the addiction is not always alcohol, we have a lot in common. The hosts are very personable and relatable, so I feel like a part of a team instead of being lectured. I’ve learned a lot about how alcohol affects are society...Read full review »

I discovered Soberful a few weeks into sobriety. I had been white-knuckling it day by day, feeling as if life was going to be miserable without booze. Veronica & Chip promised that life would not only get better, but that sober living would open up a whole new joyful world for me. They were...Read full review »

Great episode and if you’re in the early weeks of sobriety it’s an inspiration to know life does get better! I love listening to the informative, sometimes gritty and sad but also lots of inspiring and witty conversations that Chip & Veronica have around addiction, recovery and life in general.

Chip and Veronica together have so much information and experience in the recovery space. They have an amazing way of sharing it in a judgement free zone based on fact, self experience and compassion. I love the episode about hyper independence among many others. Just listened to High end drinkers episode. Not only brilliant but entertaining. Why oh why is it so acceptable to do something so damaging to your health?

Thank you. I walk my dog listening to you both chat away and feel like I’m right there with you. I smile and laugh along (must look very strange to others) and really listen. I really wish this podcast fixed it's sound, because it really seems to be a good podcast. For me as a not native English speaker, the bad sound ruins everything and I can't focus on what they are talking about only on understanding what they are saying. Had to unfollow.Read full review »

I have thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. There’s just one thing that doesn’t feel right: Veronica seems to have some sort of need to ‘push’ the alcohol-free, zero proof drinks. I share Chip’s attitude about this—I don’t see the point. If you are thirsty, there are plenty of things to drink...Read full review »

I’m not sure they are representing the depth of the depression that one is in when one is still drinking. They both sound happy now and they talk about their recovery and that’s great, but for new people, it’s a bit depressing. It feels very far away, and not attainable.

Love this podcast. They cover so many great topics. I have told friends about Veronica’s desire for a future where being sober is just as acceptable as being gluten-free. Only problem is that Chip’s audio is often very muffled and I have to turn it up loud to hear him. Maybe a better microphone?
